Solid Edge, Dell Workstations, and a Comfy Chair – See them at the ST4 Launch Event

Nothing goes better with your CAD software than a comfy chair and some good hardware. When we started talking about the Solid Edge ST4 Launch Event (there is still time to sign up), Dell went out of their way to help us with the hardware part. Those of you that are attending will see some nicely equipped Dell Precision T5500 workstations in the class rooms and their new Dell Precision M6600 mobile workstations at the Dell table at the conference. Injection Molding? Checkout Simpoe

Susan Cinadr, our tireless Solid Edge marketer and fellow blogger was in China a few weeks ago and got to talking with some folks from the Simpoe company. Simpoe does plastic injection simulation software so she encouraged them to talk to me. A Look at KeyShot 2.1 (and Support for Solid Edge ST3)

Do you recognize the products designs in this image? They are some of the standard assemblies that come with Solid Edge all prettied up using KeyShot 2.1 This was done using the latest release of Luxion’s rendering software that can now load native Solid Edge parts and assemblies.
