Over on the GreenGarageBlog, the Cal State Los Angeles team shared a blog post and video they produced on their use of NX and Teamcenter on their EcoCAR 2 vehicle.

EcoCAR 2 is one of the key projects & competitions we support. Thanks to our own Jerry Sarfati for working with the Cal State team. In addition to software, we provide EcoCAR2 teams access to folks like Jerry as well as our customer support. We also invite  educators and team leaders to take our instructor-led training for free. David Schmidt, one of the mechanical team leaders,  took a course in our Cypress, CA, office. He notes:

“I was proficient enough in NX for design to come back to my team and teach other members. The result was us being able to use NX and FEA to design and build new parts for our Chevy Malibu.”
