Andy Parnell of Rolls Royce at PLM Connection
Andy Parnell is global integration manager at Rolls-Royce. He presented today on the company’s PLM Journey. In our video interview, he says they focus quite a bit of energy on trying to simplify their complex business that now goes beyond aerospace to marine and energy industries. Rolls-Royce shares best practices both inside their company across industry segments and outside the company with companies like Red Bull Racing and JCB. Andy notes legacy data as one of their biggest challenges. Amidst all the technology infrastructure to manage that data, he also emphasizes the importance of focusing on people.
Andy is vice chairman and a long-time supporter of PLM Europe. He gives back frequently to the user community in presentations like he did today. So thanks Andy for the interview and all you do for our customer community.
