I’d like to introduce you to a new voice joining our blog: Alastair Robertson.

Alastair, aka Al,  is the marketing manager for the Velocity Series CAE products including Femap with NX Nastran and Solid Edge Simulation. He has been with our company for the past five years and brings more than 25 years experience with CAE software products to the table. Al has been a customer/user of the software and now obviously works for a vendor, so he’ll bring both perspectives to his posts. He will be writing about a host of topics, including product updates, customers use cases (stay tuned for a catamaran analysis story soon) and broader topics like design for safety.
